Welcome to my blog. In the internet world, I am a little part that exists. Here you'll find recipes, rants, a few history lessons, and general silliness.

Yeah, this new template is a little busy, but hey...it's a cat theme...had to choose it. We'll see how long I can stand it. I've tried to change the links and the "contact me" link, but so far I've been unsuccessful. My archives are messed up, too. Oh well, someday I'll get it all figured out.

So this morning I was watching the Food TV channel (one of my favorite channels to watch), and this guy was doing a show on cooking fish whole. At one point he was saying how in his family, his Mother and Grandmother would fight over the tail, the "cheeks" of the fish, and the eyeballs. He wasn't kidding. How gross is that? Eyeballs? That's just.....ick. If I *had* to, I could eat the tail and the cheeks, but no way am I eating a fish eyeball. That's just not gonna happen. I realize an eyeball might be mild when you think about some of the other things people eat. In Africa they eat worms.....and they *like* them. In England they eat blood sausage. That's right, gelled pigs blood stuffed into a sausage casing. Whatever happened to eating normal things like mashed potatoes or spaghetti? One could argue that mashed potatoes and spaghetti are not normal in places like Africa, but here in the states, I think those are pretty normal things and eyeballs and worms would be considered.....well, gross.

Okay, enough of that. Think of my chocolate pudding recipe....yummmm.

It's Friday, so I have to post a fun link. Check out the trivia section of TV Guide. See how much you actually know about your favorite shows. The current trivia game is for Home Improvement, but you can choose other shows on the pull down menu. I did the best on the Buffy & Angel ones (of course), but I also did well on the ER and Friends trivia, too.

Have a good weekend everyone!
