A Day In The Life Of A Cat

Aye Matey!

I had the most interesting shuttle driver this morning. I don't think I've ever seen her before....somehow I think I'd remember if I had. She was dressed like a pirate - chuckle. Sorry, it's just funny to think about. Anyway, she had a bandana on her head in that pirate style, and she had an eye patch. Tho she had to leave the patch sitting up above her eye because, you know, can't be driving with one eye. The patch had a skull and cross bones on it. Oh....and the parrot. Yes, she had a big fuzzy parrot....it wasn't real, it was a stuffed animal. She welcomed everyone "aboard", as if it were her ship we were boarding. Was a happy thing....singing with the radio and smiling the whole time. She honked at people walking and waved at them like they were all her best friends. All of us were looking at her....*all* of us. There is usually people talking to each other, but there was silence today....not a peep. No one really knew what to make of her....and she didn't care. She was just driving her, um...."ship" and could care less what all of us were thinking. As we were getting off, she thanked us for riding with her wished us a wonderful day. I felt like I was getting off the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland.

By far my most interesting shuttle driver so far.
