A Day In The Life Of A Cat

I'm so jealous! Yesterday I was watching Oprah....I love her. Anyway, it was her "Favorite Things" episode. She usually only will do that show at Christmastime, but she did a frist ever "Spring Favorite Things" show. The audience gets everything on Oprah's favorite things list. There are 350 people in the audience, and they all got $2900.00 worth of stuff!!!! You do the math and see how much that all cost her. She gave away leather purses, high end bras, shoes, iPods, BBQ grills, body lotion, hats, *really* expensive clothes ~ we're talkin' $150 cotton shirts. Cool - way cool stuff. I wished I was there. I am now adding going to see her show to my "things I want to do list". I've always wanted to go, but now I really want to go. Anyone wanna come with? It's in Chicago. I hear it's a great town. It would be great in October...cooler. Deep dish pizza...the "L" (short for loop, I think), shopping....and OPRAH! WoooHoooo!

My cat Suzie think's I'm the devil. She has a little infection so we have to feed her pills for about a week....twice a day. The very first day, Greg put a pill down with her kitty treats and she ate the pill thinking it was just another treat. That was easy. Next day, hid a pill in a piece of salami. Down the hatch. Next day....she is leery of these icky tasting treats we're so willing to give her. Is being a little more cautious. Finally had to force feed her a pill because I ran out of meats to hide the pill in. So now I'm the Devil. She runs under the bed when she hears me call her for treat-time. Smart little thing. Wish Greg luck - he has pill duty tonight.
