Welcome to my blog. In the internet world, I am a little part that exists. Here you'll find recipes, rants, a few history lessons, and general silliness.

Just some random stuff for a Friday. If you are into the Padres, you know Jody Gerut is rookie of the year material. He's hitting 288 and catching everything that comes his way! If only the whole time was like him.... Have you heard the news in Hollywood? The skanky Lopez woman fired her long time manager a few days ago. Apparently he didn't kiss her ENTIRE ass. Ben, Ben, Ben....you really need to rethink this hookup. I bet Chris Judd thought she was all that, too. She must be a good kisser....or something. The good news is, there's still time to get away. Run, Ben, run!!! Did you watch Melrose Place when it was the very hottest thing on TV? I did. Never missed an episode. All that awful back stabbing and those cat fights! It was great! *chuckle* There's going to be an E! True Hollywood Story done about the show. I love those True Hollywood stories...we find out about so much stuff that went on behind the scenes. I'll be tuning in to watch it on Sunday, June 15, at 8pm! I rode the public bus to work this morning from UTC. The shuttle isn't running during the Summer and employees get a free bus sticker that's good for a 5 miles radius. This ride is much shorter than the shuttle because there a lot less stops. I got to campus in about 8 minutes. In that 8 minutes on the bus, a man managed to make me wish I had picked another seat. He was right across from me. I'm sitting there minding my own business...the bus is pretty empty. He gets up and seems to be fishing in his pocket for something. I'm not really paying very much attention at first, but after a moment of this, I figure out what he's fishing for isn't in his pocket. Just then, he decides to forget about trying to be discreet and goes for the full on adjusting of his...um..."package" right there in front of me. And this wasn't a small adjustment. He was tugging and shifting....it went on for a long time. I was mortified. I looked out the window and never looked back at him. Other people had to notice, but I didn't even look around to see. I swear, I'm a weirdo magnet. Have a good weekend everyone! posted by Kitty Friday, June 13, 2003
