Happy Birthday Greg!!

Yup, it's my honey's birthday today! He's a kind soul and gave up his day off and let another guy he works with take it off - such a sweetheart. I woke him up at 5am and gave him his gifts. He tried to pretend he was sleeping, but he was awake. Silly bear.

I don't think myself an evil person....I know some would question that. However, I can't help but feel a bit relieved to hear the big news - and it won't be a surprise since I have stated my opinion many times. Read on....

Jen & Ben's Wedding Postponed
September 10, 2003

Just hours after announcing the decision to delay their weekend wedding, JENNIFER LOPEZ and BEN AFFLECK were swarmed by cameras as they left the swank Los Angeles eatery The Ivy Wednesday night. As photographers' flashbulbs lit up the night sky, it was a prime example of the media frenzy the couple blamed for calling off Sunday's event.

Earlier Wednesday, in a joint statement, the couple confirmed the delay of their wedding, saying, "Due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding, we have decided to postpone the date. When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate "decoy brides" at three different locations, we realized that something was awry. We began to feel that the spirit of what should have been the happiest day of our lives could be compromised. We felt what should have been a joyful and sacred day could be spoiled for us, our family and our friends."

Entertainment Tonight broke the news that the Jen and Ben wedding, scheduled for Sunday, was postponed. Insiders have led ET to believe that Jennifer personally made the calls to guests and was said to be very upset and difficult to understand through her tears.

Despite the couple's efforts to keep the wedding under wraps by having vendors sign confidentiality agreements, fine points of the celebration, including the location of the vows and the reception, began to leak at a break-neck pace. And as news spread, hotel rooms in and around the usually quiet seaside town of Santa Barbara, CA, were sold-out as the media moved in.

About 400 guests had reportedly been invited by phone and told to be in Los Angeles on Saturday. The wedding's exact location was not disclosed to guests. Only when invitees gathered on the West Coast were they going to be advised where to go for Saturday's rehearsal dinner and Sunday's nuptials. Wednesday, those guests were told not take their flights to Los Angeles, the wedding was off.

The quaint Spanish-style stucco church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Montecito was said to be where the two stars planned to exchange their vows. Guests were then likely to move to the multi-million dollar estate, "Sotto Il Monte," for the reception. BRUCE WILLIS, JACK NICHOLSON, CHRISTIAN SLATER and his wife RYAN HADDON were reportedly among those invited to the celebrity wedding of the year.

And lastly, Septemeber 11th has always been a good day for me because it's my sweetie's birthday. But on this day two years ago, we all know what happened. It was a terrible day for all American's. The President said everyone can remember where they were when they heard the news....it's so true. Visit msn.com to see the video tribute at ground zero ~ it is touching.

And with that, I wish you all peace.
