A Day In The Life Of A Cat

I've been home for a week watching my new kitchen progress.....slowly. It's taking forever ~ this is the 2nd week of work. Last week they came in on Monday and ripped off the old kitchen counter, the sink, the bar, and the stove. Remember this was *last* Monday. Yesterday the counter and sink were finally installed. Still no stove. And tho we finally had a sink, still no water. We're washing 2 plates, two cups and a cookie sheet that we cook tater tots on in the laundry room (our oven isn't being replaced). In the morning I had to butter my toast on the coffee table in the living room because the kitchen table in full of stuff that was on the counter. So thankfully the kitchen counter is in. Boy have I learned to appreciate my kitchen.

So maybe the stove will be in Monday. Sigh.
