Welcome to my blog. In the internet world, I am a little part that exists. Here you'll find recipes, rants, a few history lessons, and general silliness.

Pop! Pop! Pop!

It's national bubble wrap day!

Yes, folks, someone had enough time on their hands to go to the trouble to have a day devoted to this popular shipping material. I do admit I like to pop bubble wrap...it's hard not to. But a day in it's honor? Hummm.

Well, since it is bubble wrap day, here is a trivia question for you. What 70's "Angel" appeared in Playboy in nothing but bubble wrap? Email me your answer ;-)

Last night I had a dream I have to share with you.

I was on my way to one of Greg's softball games in the back of one of those old Army jeeps like they used in the TV show M*A*S*H. It was a pretty bumpy ride and I was in the back sitting up on edge by the spare tire....I think the back seat was missing. At one point we enter a restricted area and it looks like some kind of Army compound. I see another jeep up ahead and a guy gets out and opens a gate to this area that has a ton of wild animals in it. Like rhinos, buffalo....not real friendly ones. He drives in but I notice he forgets to close the gate. I also notice that the sign on the gate says "to fantasy island".

Huh? Fantasy island??

Anyway, I quickly dismiss the worry that we will soon have a charging rhino on our tail because we are suddenly being shot at from above! And somehow my underwear (I had a skirt on) are now down around my ankles!

Okay, now I know this might be TMI (too much info) for you, but I laugh so hard every time I remember it. I mean, it's just classic. And to be honest, this is just the kind of weird shit that would happen to me if I went on a trip to some foreign country seeking adventure (and where Greg had to play a softball game?). I'd be unfortunate enough to be sitting precariously in the back of an Army jeep with a rhino chasing me and being shot from above by someone in a helicopter with a machine gun. Then, somehow....my underwear would fall down.

It could happen ~ trust me.
