Hodge Podge
A few things for today.
First, you have to check out artist Pascal Yelle. At first glance, Pascal’s work could be photography, or oil painting, or even illustration. But it is, in fact, created from fashion magazine advertisements. No joke. Take a look at this site. You'll see the full picture, then a close up of a tiny section of the picture so you can see the advertisements. It's pretty amazing.

I found this quote and love it. It's just something I would say.
"You can find such beauty and wonderment in inanimate objects. I always ask such questions about street lamps. They could destroy us all with the secrets they know about us. If only I were a street lamp.

I once imagined what it would be like to live as a tree in Central Park. Just think of the things you'd see. I wrote a poem about it. See my entry on 9/24/03.
