A Dream Come True

Anyone who really knows me knows that I have never taken a real vacation. Sure, I've been to San Fransisco for Thanksgiving, went to TJ a few times, have gone to Indiana and to Vegas for Christmas....but none of these trips were the full on lavish vacation you read about in travel magazines. I've never been on one of those lavish vacations.

About 25 years ago my sister went to Germany. I think it was then that I started dreaming of going there. She brought me a necklace that had an edelweiss charm on it. I was so enchanted, I wanted to go there and see this beautiful place more than anything else. I added Sweden and Denmark to my dream of places to vist....

Well, I'm going to all those places!!!! And a few more:

Helsingborg, Sweden
Stockholm, Sweden
Copenhagen, Denmark
St. Petersburg, Russia
Tallinn, Estonia
Gdynia, Poland
Warnemuende, Germany
Oslo, Norway

Isn't that amazing? I'm going to all those places!!!! You cannot imagine how excited I am about this. Our reservation has been made, monies have been paid, vacation time is asked for and approved! It's a done deal, folks. I'm and international traveler waiting to happen.
