I'm so tired. I sleep but I don't feel like I've slept enough.

Last week was....awful. I would never wish that kind of week on anyone. Thank goodness our vacation is almost here. We leave August 27th and I can't wait. I need this vacation.

Okay, so an update on Suzie. She is home, which is amazing. Friday morning things were looking bleak. It's a long depressing story so I won't spill it all out here. The important thing is that she's home. You can tell she is much happier at home than at the hospital. She was so scared there....poor thing. I took pictures of her incision....it's about a foot long and is all stapled up. I think the area around it is really red, but Greg says it was like that when we picked her up. Giving her all the antibiotics is terrible. It breaks our hearts to have to force this stuff on her when we know she feels so rotten. The first day we gave her the pills and she starts to foam at the mouth. This scared the crap out of us. I was like....."How did she get rabies!!??" Greg called the hospital and they said it's normal because it tastes so bad. Great. Advanced torture on our poor cat. Thankfully she only gives us the silent tretment for about 10 minutes afterwards....then she is willing to make up and not hold a grudge. Bad news is we have mega amouts of pills to give her....so it seems like these torture sessions will never be over.

Alright, enough of that.

I started a new blog back in January. It's a vacation blog. I will post pictures and things there so you can keep up with our daily adventures while we are gone. Plus I thought it would be a nice thing to look back on. We can read it was a way to look back on our trip. As the days get closer, I will pubish the link. I know you all are just tingling with anticipation over this! rolls eyes and chuckles
