Remember I posted an itinerary for a friend who was traveling to Europe back in April? Well she's back and I'm meeting her and a few other people for Happy Hour to see her pictures tonight! She came into my office last to day hello and was glowing. We didn't have a lot of time to talk, but I did get to hear her fairytale love story....she met a guy when she got back. You all know how I love romance! She's happy and that's so nice to see. Before she went on her trip, she seemed to have lost that inner spark that made her beem. But now....well let's just say that like Stella, she's got her groove back! The trip to Europe is what seems to have done it ~ she says we all should take one really huge vacation at least once in their life. Um, Greg....did you hear that? ;->

...

Moving on. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I think I listen pretty well. Tho now that I say that, Murphy's Law will strike and I'll have a super bad day because of something I didn't listen to, but anyway...

Yesterday I called in an order for pizza and garlic bread for lunch at Flippie's. Greg loves their cheesy garlic bread but they put this read sauce on with the garlic butter that's a little much. We always get it without that. So this is how I ordered it:

"And an order of cheesy garlic bread without the red sauce on it," I said.
"So just butter garlic then?" she says.
"Yes," I say.

So what do you think I should have got? I think I should have got an order of cheesy garlic bread without the red sauce on it. Well that isn't what I got. I picked it up, came home, and unwrapped the garlic bread. No cheese. Just garlic butter. I stood there for a second and looked at it. How on earth did she get the idea I didn't want any cheese? We never talked no cheese! I said cheesy garlic bread with NO red sauce!

Whatever.

I know some people will say it's my fault because I should have said "And cheese" after she said "So just butter garlic then?", but I disagree with that. If she had listened to what I ordered, I would have got the correct thing. It wasn't awful....but it wasn't cheesy. But there was cheese on the pizza, so all was not lost. *grin*
