Friday....finally

It's finally Friday....this week has been a killer. Why do some weeks fly by and others seem like they will never end?

Speaking of flying by, I have something kinda funny to tell you. I have two calendars on my wall. One is set to the current month and the other is set to the next month so I can look ahead. Well I forgot to advance the pages on each of the calendars, so they are still October and November. This morning I looked at the October calendar thinking it was November. Imagine my surprise when I think it's November 7th already! I sat there for a minute wondering how I'd lost about 3 days of my life....how could it be the 7th already? I shook my head and went on with my business. I came across something that was date stamped November 4th and I said to myself "The computers are date stamping things with the wrong date! Yikes!!" I composed an email to the technical people to report the problem. I was about to send it when something caught my eye in another window on my computer screen. It was a new email message that popped up.....and the date on it glared at me...November 4th. I looked at the calendar on my wall again and suddenly October was glaring at me, too. I tell you....I was seconds from sending that email to a boat-load of people saying the system had the date wrong....it would have been sooo embarrassing. Oddly, the email message that popped up and alerted me was from The Old Globe Theater...who's mailing list I've been trying to unsubscribe from for two days with no luck. Divine intervention? Maybe so :-)
